U Čikagu će se u ponedeljak 15. jula 2024. godine otvoriti rashladni centri zbog visokih temepratura. Prema saopštenju iz meteorološke službe Čikaga najviša dnevna temperatura će u ponedeljak 15. jula iznositi 38°C.
Nacionalna meteorološka služba nije izdala upozorenje o visokim temepraturama. Stotine rashladnih centara će biti otvoreno u oblasti Čikaga, uključujući sledeće lokacije:
Community service centers – od 9:00 do 17:00 časova.
- Englewood Center – 1140 W. 79th Street
- Garfield Center – 10 S. Kedzie Ave.
- King Center – 4314 S. Cottage Grove
- North Area Center – 845 W. Wilson Ave.
- South Chicago Center – 8650 S. Commercial Ave.
- Trina Davila Center – 4312 W. North Ave.
